Glenbrook/Chatsford is not a life style Community by name, it is a community run by and for the benefit of its residents. As with any community, Glenbrook/Chatsford depends on the goodwill of its residents to flourish.

The Resident Committee

Residents can influence the day to day functioning of the community through their committee, the Glenbrook/Chatsford Resident Committee.

This committee has many functions, from an advisory function to management to controlling sub-committees that oversee, the club bar, swimming pool, bowling club, organize social events and ensure new residents are made welcome.

Glenbrook/Chatsford Trust

On the resale of an Occupation Right Agreement 1% per year for a maximum of 5 years is paid to Glenbrook/Chatsford Trust. This Trust is an independent legal entity whose function is to ensure that funds are available for future major maintenance costs that will inevitably be incurred as the community ages. The Trust has 3 Trustees:

• a community resident (elected by residents)
• a representative of Glenbrook/Chatsford Management and
• the Community's solicitor
